General Manager – Pub/Restaurant - £28,000 – Stratford – Town Centre

We are looking for a passionate and driven General Manager for an established property in Stratford.
This is an extremely busy privately run property that is now looking for a General Manager who can help push the business to a new level.
As General Manager you will need to be customer focused with excellent standards of service, first class communication and a real passion for top quality food and products.
You will also need to have a sound financial knowledge although we are not looking for an office based General Manager. Our client needs the GM to be on the floor where it matters not tucked away back of house.
This is a great opportunity for you to work for property that is always busy. It is not unknown to serve 1200 covers a week. Hence, you will need to have a calm and pro-active attitude and the ability to manage and control a range of environments.
As General Manager you will be leading a team 20 staff, dealing with an average turnover of £20K per week, training and developing, marketing, stock control and all financial aspects of the business.
