Head Chef- Suffolk

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the team of this popular rosette establishment in a Suffolk town location, competitive salary and bonus on offer.

The Company:

Independently owned hotel, with award winning rosette restaurant in a popular centralised town location. Great opportunity for an established Head Chef who is looking to make their mark locally.

In a Nutshell:

Our client is looking for a Head Chef with a consistent CV and good quality kitchen experience in a similar establishment, working with fresh food, in a busy environment. Candidates must have relative rosette experience.

The Role:

•Head Chef
•Package of £35-40,000
•2 AA Rosette kitchen
•Brigade of 8-10
•Complete control on menu planning and costings in line with budgets.
•5/7 days a week
•48hrs a week
•Predominately splits shifts
•No Live in

Looking for a Head Chef who:

•Remains calm under pressure
•Has excellent management skills and can train and develop the existing team
•Has a minimum of 2 years Head Chef experience within a 2 rosette kitchen
•Is knowledgeable about fresh food, and can create menus which take into account seasonal produce
•Has good financial awareness and will take this into account when writing and pricing menus and organising staff rotas.
•Is hands on and able to get stuck in as and when needed
•Is responsible, reliable and dedicated to the job
